Purnima in the evening and at midnight
How the day is chosen
The Purnima of Ashwin. The day whose evening (two ghatikas, 48 minutes after sunset) and midnight both fall in the Purnima; if both days qualify, or one day has only the midnight and the other only the evening, the later day (Tithitattva).
